The sound treatment only enhances what is already a passionate captivating performance by James and his band. This is how we hoped Lord Huron might have evolved, embellishing their sonic ethos and pushing it even further into analog depths, with the vocal visceral of Ryan Adams to boot. We dig it immensely.
