Indie buzz project HOAX returns with the infectious flash of their new single into the blackhole. Brit Pop with classic soul, they find the middle ground between Arctic Monkeys and Steve Lacy. It’s slightly eccentric with its drawn out emotional swells. The performance is convincing and amplifies the singers notable talent.
Into the blackhole adds to a growing catalog of underground indie pop hits. Flying too far under the radar, HOAX has the depth and credibility to make their career last. They’re one break away from the big time. There’s nothing fishy here, HOAX is ironically the real deal.

SOFY drops an alternative pop hit with her single socks. The artists energetic bouncy demeanor is magnetic. She’s got real star potential. Her vibe screams youth. It’s fairly innocent in a way thats charming but also not gonna kill your buzz. Rather she seems like the kind of enigma that can thrust herself into every moment and fit in.
The video adds to her appeal with some sneaky smart editing in the flash of graffiti backgrounds. The song recalls breakout hits by Clairo, Girlhouse, and Del Water Gap. SOFY is so cool!

Visually stunning, the eccentric existence of Ora Cogan explodes on Cowgirl. The new song and interpretive dance haunts the scattered images of this wild music video. It recalls the classic treasured documentary The Decline of Western Civilizations, but the setting is twisted Canadian and the characters more dynamic and diverse. There’s less starlight in their eyes, and more authentic corruption.
Flashes of chaos give these rodeo punks genuine angst. The song is eery dreamy with the singers haunting quivering vibrato scaling the melody convincingly. We see a star in the making.

Bird Eternal creates something magnificent with the their recent Broken Infinity. This intricate art pop uses all that’s available to it. The production is expansive and notably complicated. It infects every detail, from the glitchy drums to the ghost like vocal design. It’s experimental within a melodic package, one that’s seemingly fleeting; buried beneath an array of cosmic samples and impending electric intruders.
The song is like its own wild mechanism, chaotic and held together by some invisible force at its core. That is the song beneath the madness. We can dig it. Bird Eternal connects with artists like Aphex Twin and Animal Collective.
