Dark Retro Vibes – Nocturne, Codeluxe, Perimeters, Hevvy Serve,

Inferno Choir honors Some Days Are Darker with a remix for their single Nocturne.  Cyberpunk and Darkwave collide on this infectious dark electro breakthrough.  The singers tortured snarly vocal enhances the sentiment, blending an element of romantic gothic to add to the collective dark chic vibe.

The trademark pumping synth bass and retro wave design offers elegant contrast.  This is how we imagine a collaboration between Fm-84 and Carpenter Brut might sound.  Sounds exciting?  It is.

codeluxe – Galaxy

codeluxe caught our attention with the video for their single Galaxy.  A classic blend of appregiating synths rotate around an airy beat, one that communicates an affect of floating.  It suits the songs cosmic nature.

The video brings an additional creative dimension, offering a thought provoking narrative that plays with both the ideas of VR and new technology provoked relationships.  Further stimulated by the robotic hypnotic vocal, Galaxy is both entrancing and immersive in how it triggers a visionary response.  The artist cites Kraftwerk and Marhseaux as fair comparisons.  We also think it connects with synthwave producers like Kavinsky.

Singing in Espanol adds to the rare exotic blend heard on Locura, the new single from Perimeters.  An infectious melody, the composition gets a nice stylistic boost from the overall post punk inspired presentation. The minimalistic design makes one gorgeous musical organism, where every attribute shines in its own light while adding to the collective harmonious depth.

Locura is simply undeniable and should catch the ears of post punk, darkwave, and synthwave fans in general.
