Deux Visage – Tethered

Deux Visage enwrapped using dreamy melodic essence of their recent single Tethered.  Intriguing guitar work supports the singers passionate emotive delivery.  She pierces through the arrangements layered design elegantly, adding some emotional reverence to suit the songs rapturous nature.

Theres an effective influential blend of shoegaze and underground emo punk.  It’s presented with a legible punch, one that gives Tethered real radio potential.  The band adds a companion video that displays their very real star potential. Stylistically they’re a sure thing for fans of Wolf Alice and The Districts.  Deux Visage is a band to watch.  Say you heard them first.

We dig the gorgeous progressive contrast heard on Hungry, the new breakthrough hit from buzz artist olivia bec.  Channeling an aura of retro soul a la Lake Street Dive in the infectious verse sections, the song evolves with stadium ready pop rock flash on the effective in-your-face chorus section.

Hungry is insanely catchy and the stylistic blend recalls recent international superstar Olivia Rodrigo.  Like her, Olivia Bec is a clever writer who could win widespread appreciation with her addictive catchy nature.  We think it’s a real hit.  Say you heard her first.

Frogs Show Mercy catch our attention again with their new single Chester’s Privilege.  The band has proven that they’re got some legs to run within this style.  It’s an infectious combination of post punk and emo.  The energy and fury amplify a delicious melodic palette and exciting compositional touch.

They cite their influences without ever sounding derivative.  They offer their own gritty sonic appeal.  It graces every facet of the record.  From the vocals to the drums to the guitars everything treated with some illuminated sonic appeal.  It’s all meant to capture their in concert blend effectively.  We’re big fans.  Frogs Show Mercy are a sure thing for fans of Title Fight and Movements.
