Brimheim pens a modern anthem with her new single Brand New Woman (feat. eee gee). This introspective gem erupts with progressive surprise in the impassioned chorus section. Whiplashing back into the more compact safety of the verses before crashing back into the chorus, Brand New Woman emulates this real world struggle elegantly.
Societally plagued to perfect that balancing act of staying true to yourself and not getting in the way, Brand New Woman hits home. Beautifully produced and effectively showcasing the artists impressive voice, Brand New Woman elegantly scans the fringes of both rock and pop. Stylistically we hear evidence of the stadium rock known to the Killers and Florence Welsh, blended with an indie sensibility akin to Sharon Van Etten. Brimheim adds an exotic twist courtesy of her rare voice. Brand New Woman is hype worthy.

Ames Harding brings the Congo line into the indie-sphere with his new release Walk the Walk. Like a modern Paul Simon, Harding effectively incorporates the island influence into a pop framework. He adds a new electro sonic reverence.
The Emperor might wear new clothes, but the infection reflects this styles classic intention. Like a Beetlejuice prank you won’t be able to resist the songs bopping magnetism. With added shades of psychedelia Harding keeps it fresh. We can dig it.

Stand up and be delivered. abeltriesherbest pulls back the curtain on her revelatory new single porsche pastor. Adopting traits known to classic soul and gospel enhance the clever conceptual theme, but besides it’s sultry catchy appeal there’s not much holy about this brutal exposé. A seething condemnation gets a boost from her incredible vocal performance, one that shines a bright light on her true star potential.
Beyond the notes and perfect pitch her voice is full of personality. It’s convincing in a way thats inspiring. Stylistically we hear evidence of the Alabama Shakes but in a more chic stylized production, not unlike how Aretha Franklin’s more polished works challenged Motown. They’re big shoes to fill, but something about this artist tells us she an’t scared of nothing.

We can’t resist the infectious punch and sonic fury heard on Cursed, the new single from ALIAS. A catchy post punk influenced tirade suits the music relentless stabbing design. Its an aggressive intrusive affect, a mob mentality style function flinging you into unconscious fits of fury. The measured vocal drops knowledge like a modern beat poet, caught within the throes of cynicism and reason, toiling to balance their mental dominance.
The minimal melodic flex will draw immediate comparisons to LCD Soundsystem, systematically trickling to the unlikely influential lineage of CAKE, a testament to the songs catchy crossover appeal. Like them both, ALIAS offers intriguing rhetoric you can dance to, with the singer conducting a sermon fit to unleash the built up aggression burdening our modern souls.
