Bess Atwell gets to the heart of the matter with her new single The Weeping. At the crossroads of Americana and Singer Songwriter, Atwell clears a new path that finds the middle earth between the two realms. In that way we hear a Laurel Canyon influence with an updated indie sensibility ranging from Brandi Carlisle to Feist.

The most important feature, Atwell lands iconic whilst lending her own candid quivering vibrato to this lyrical poetry. The Weeping is entrancing.

It’s flurrying in Philadelphia as we dig in to Snow / Hailstone, the new double sided single from Irish songwriter Podge Lane. We took in these inspired songs nestled next to our window with a cup of warm spirit induced coffee to warm our soul.
