Sophia Zamani elegantly honors her upbringing on her new single Love is Fun. The lyrics are sneaky introspective and pack a lot of personality into a tight package. What it took to get here and an insight of sacrifice offer some charming humility. Its self evident courtesy of a fantastic performance and her lucid lyrical touch.
Stylistically we think Zamani blends the aesthetics of Courtney Barnett, Heartless Bastards, and Haim. Like all of them she offers a fresh female fronted rock and roll revival that hits tough and unassuming. The unassuming trait courtesy of her girl next door demeanor. After all, destroying your assumptions is her secret weapon.

Paradise Blossom bridge the gap between dream pop and emo inspired indie rock convincingly on their new single Love Bomb. Melodically you can hear the ascent from 80s alternative and its massive influence on underground rock music over the last twenty years. The emo punk influence is most notable in the energetic drum part, a detail guaranteed to erupt in concert.
The dreaminess is courtesy of a somber drenched vocal, one that resonates with the songs strung out cover image. Love Bomb is a vibe. It’s a sure thing for fans of Dream, Ivory, and 60 juno.

We love howRULE OF TWOembraces an influence of A Perfect Circle on their new single Drowning. They adapt that with sublte hints of darkwave electronic and gothic industrial on this imaginative triumph. Its dark and epic while mirroring APC’s melodic essence. We love it.
RULE OF TWO is an electronic side project from Ronny Flissundet and Kristian Liljan of the bands Damokles and Dunderbeist.

Its a slow burn worth the wait, and its not hard to get lost in the intoxicating vocal performance heard on Valentina. The new single from Talking to Shadows is epic.
The singer has a haunting voice that connects losely with projects like The Cranberries. Its a combinations of exotic and ethereal, with a soaring second level willing to rise above the crash of the band. In that way they bridge the gap between projects like The Cranberries and Smashing Pumpkins. We dig it.
