We got lost in the exotic allure heard on the vocal performance on Worth It All, the new single from Hallo. Their lead singers voice is blessed with a magnetic quiver. It illuminates the emotional tension of her work, as she conjures trials of vulnerability in her performance.
The vibes moody mystery combined with her rare voice will draw fair comparisons to Fleetwood Mac. We also hear an added indie influence in the vein of Sharon Van Etten and The War On Drugs. It’s heard in the vibrant lead guitar with its immersive tone and massive sonic push. We think it’s brilliant.

We want to wade blissfully in the refreshing musical melatonin of Train, the new single from Niall Summerton. The singers soft lush voice is an intoxicating asset. The artist leans into its hypnotic trait with elegant control while the music creates cinematic drama, exploding convincingly in the songs final moments. “It’s gonna get harder,” the singer offers in the narratives closing argument.
That lyrical reference might not be so dooming. For us it’s more of a chance for you to embrace some serenity. It suggests it’s better to let go than to hold on to trivial fears known to modern existence. Let go. Stylistically his vibe blends an influence of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith with an indie rock feel familiar to The National.

We’re big fans of Pet Snake, the solo project from Evelyn Halls of Clean Cut Kid. She recently dropped her EP Hard. In tandem with past releases it combines previously released works with a fresh single. Head to her Spotify now to see how the variable single album covers interact with the final EP drop, it’s a smart art installation. Kudos!
The newest single Trust Issues is cinematic and lush. It’s begging for a soundtrack placement. The writing is catchy and combines a flurry of influences. At times you can hear references to Kate Bush or dare we say Sheryl Crow, combined with a modern indie aesthetic familiar to the Boy Genius dialect. It’s another great addition to an impressive catalog. The whole EP is fire. Get into it.

Big Warm Bed is full of vintage cool on their new single Can’t Quit. The jive of the beat permeates beneath a contemplative vocal as the singer deals with existential compromise. It’s like saying goodbye to a bad habit. Its a conflict of feelings familiar to leaving behind a toxic friend who’s occasionally incredible fun. Move on or risk total destruction.
The narrative suits the vocals somber affect, while the cheeky groove adds some fun contrast. In that way the vibe should connect with fans of Kevin Morby and Kurt Vile. Keep it cool.
