We adore the vibrant infectious swagger of Walking On The Moon, the new single from Yes Gabriel. It’s a metaphysical aura within a feel good light that never trends cheesy. It’s a liberating affect, one that offers a mental escape from the daily doldrums. In that way it connects with artists like Peter Gabriel, The 1975, and Francis and the Lights.
Like all of them Yes Gabriel says a lot without saying much, and illuminates the sonic atmosphere with bright sonic treats that spark a smile from the listener.

When the beat drops on HIDE AND SEEK you’ll be thrust into an automatic dance state. Within seconds you’ll be hit with the intriguing contrast offered by the vocal part. The new single from Gown is stylistically lush. The band toes the line between retro pop, post punk, and shoegaze. The nostalgic clues are expressive and effective.
This is how we imagine the Footloose soundtrack might have sounded if it was commissioned to The Cure. We love it.

You can’t deny that something special happened when these three projects collaborated. Those project are Arcade Ocean, undrwatertape, and dreaming of cali. Their new single Lonely Road is a beautiful blend of classic retro pop and modern synth pop.
Produced in a different manner it might present more like The Killers or The 1975, but stylized in this manner you can’t deny the nostalgic brilliance. The bright synth textures illuminate the writing magnificently. It’s gloriously nostalgic without over embellishing that influence. We’re into it.
