The infection is magnetic on The Traveller, the new single from Art d’Ecco. The name fits the artist’s chic pop nature, as his vibrant stylistic vocal style suits the musics funk pop pomp.
Stylistically it’s a glorious blend of retro art punk and modern indie rock. You can’t deny correlations like the Talking Heads blended with the modern energy known to Franz Ferdinand. You can also hear an influence of Bowie, a sentiment that’s amplified by the inspired raw sax part. The David Byrne reference goes deeper courtesy of the fantastic music video. We love all of it.

We adore the romantic aura hard on The Weight You Carry, the new single from Silent Runners. The singer combines an influence of Morrissey with a more amorous delivery in contrast to Morrissey’s own trademark disaffection. It works well scaling the dark synth progression at the core of The Weight You Carry.
The sparkle of the lead synth adds to the nostalgic brilliance, while expressive percussive treats riff around the calculated backbeat. Everything about this track screams crossover. Whether you’re into nostalgia or modern indie pop, you’ll be into it.

We were drawn into the anthemic essence of Spirit of the Hero, the new single from MERCURYO. There’s a lot to love on this dynamic release.
It starts with the rare slap bass, a trait that conjures an influence of Rick James and Prince. Then there’s the 80s soundtrack inspired production design, a detail that finds elegant contrast when combined with the singers rare delivery. He offers the songs trademark moment, injecting a subtle alt rock sensibility in the vein of Linkin Park. We can dig it.
