Music Videos We Love – Madeline & Makk Makkael, AERI, Later., Isaac Martinez

Madeline and Makk Makkael caught our attention with their new release, Ugly Feeling.  The conceptual masterpiece is killer through and through.  From the camera work to the intriguing script, the directing team finds personality in the mannerisms and reactions of its actors.  They say so much though you never hear their voices.  There are subtitles which lend context to the narrative, but it’s the feelings that we relate to.  Trying to fit in, or just trying to be seen.  Sometimes it’s real, sometimes it’s all an act.

Life is but it dream within the ethereal essence of Safe With Me, the new video and single from AERI.  The slow motion chronicle honors the songs immersive brilliance.  The love for community and inclusiveness shines bright on this positive masterpiece.  Safe With Me makes us feel good.  Embrace love’s truth.  All kinds of love.

French Indies Later are pretty damn good at making Live Session performance videos.  Their recent What Are We Doing Here fits the bill.  Epic catchy sultry chill psych vibes land supreme on this infectious banger.  Stylistically it’s a sure thing for fans of Lo Moon and My Morning Jacket.  It’s a killer performance with impressive cinematography that lands convincing.  Enjoy it.

Isaac Martinez takes life in stride in the video for his new single Time Passes.  The candid vintage cinematography unfolds like a homeade chronicle of a songwriters romantic affair with his youth.  This is the part of life where feelings hit hard despite life’s limited pressures.  Before the quest for a filled 401k challenges what really matters.  A version of existence where integrity still has value.  Boy do we miss it.
