We lost ourselves in the dark hypnotic nature of Tattoo, the new single from Lilith & The Wildflowers. The lead singers voice has an eclectic dynamic. She can be intoxicating and dreamy or scathing and full of bitter attitude. It suits the bands expressive post punk inspired indie rock style.
From the guitar work to the vocal part everything feels right on this impressive breakthrough. Stylistically it’s a sure thing for fans of Wolf Alice and Florence Welch.

They were once Jay Som’s backing band, but Fime has taking the reins as a rock and roll force. Their new single Better Half of a Dollar sounds like a band that has felt the rush of bringing a crowd to a frenzy. The single is tailor made for an in concert freak out. The video illuminates that potential.
This raucous heist shows a band that has broke out of the threat of the mundane. The tour ended and real life threatened to take over. Fuck that. Scream yourself to redemption. For fans who like Rock. Fime is the truth.

We were instantly entranced by the dreamy vibrance heard on My Skin, the new single from twentylove. The blend on this emphatic release is delectable. Nostalgic influences collide with the modern intriguingly. Mainstream and the underground both have a stake in their sound.
Whether you’re a fan of The Cure, My Chemical Romance, or The 1975 you’re going to be into it. It’s got that wide anthemic appeal. Check it out.

Two-Man Giant Squid had big shoes to fill when they opted to cover I Think I’m In love by Spiritualized. What could have been a disaster is thankfully another highlight from this Brooklyn based post punk buzz band.
The band is already coming on hard with a fury of releases that showcase their unique post punk blend. The new cover emphasizes their ability to take anything to new heights. It absolutely makes you want to see them in concert. Stylistically it recalls how LCD covered Human League at Red Rocks. It’s that good.
