Undiscovered Gems – NoCap Bux, Aj Dyce, Gutter Crowns, Caleb L’Etoile

NoCap Bux has released his new song “Ambition Got Teeth (Federalist No. 51).” The track is coated with political and economic probes. It feels like NoCap Bux’s primary motive in this song is to put more power into the people who are by any means oppressed or taken advantage of.

The beat for this song feels like it could’ve been on an early 2010’s Lil Wayne mixtape with its bouncy trap drums and textural synths. NoCap Bux delivers confidently to let listeners know they should be paying close attention to his educational lyrics.

“Ambition Got Teeth (Federalist No. 51)” is on our Hip Hop 2025 Playlist now.

“The Silence on the Road,” the new track from Aj Dyce, is a retro disco jam doused in nostalgia and etherealism. The distant yet bright synths create a soundscape that feels like it’s remaining one step ahead of listeners in a race. It’s as if we’re caught in an illusion of trying to catch up with the melodic textures that are right in front of us.

Aj Dyce’s vocals are at the forefront of the track, and his soothing vocal tones fit perfectly with the modest guitar riffs laced between the melodies. The fast-paced drums and hypnotic synths are where the disco influence comes into play and gives the track its unique nostalgic vibe.

Gutter Crowns’ new track “Acceptance” is a gritty Grunge influenced anthem led by its overdriven guitars and charismatic vocal performance. “Acceptance” reminds me of a blend between The Get Up Kids and early Brand New songs.

Nearly half way through the track there is a sudden shift in progression and the mix becomes a bit more loose. The sudden change is the perfect lead up to the climactic second half of the track where the drums are finally introduced. The subtle evolution and progression of this song makes it feel like one big cinematic listen.

You can find “Acceptance” on our All New Rock 2025 Playlist now.

“Fireball,” the new track from Caleb L’Etoile is out now. The rhythm and vocal tendencies that drive this song are vintage but polished. It’s as if the lost genre of Doo-Wop was reimagined in current times with a more modern twist.

Caleb L’Etoile’s presence on the track is energetic and intoxicating. The upbeat instrumental is perfect support for his bouncy saturated vocal rhythms. The clicky percussion and subtle flashes of white noise give this song a unique textural balance that’s both intriguing and fulfilling.
