Ben Reid has something to say about spending TIME ALONE. The songwriter puts a unique twist on your perceived notion. It’s not so much about a somber moment, but rather, an overwhelming lover who doesn’t leave you a lot of room to breathe. Reid dresses this quarrel in a catchy indie pop package, complete with an epic hook that accentuates the moment. Stylistically they find the middle ground between The 1975 and Tame Impala. It’s sonically textured and infinitely catchy. Get into it.

We found ourselves in an interpretive dance state within the moody infection of Ambitions, the new single from deleterolf. This groove emulates the fabric of our chill lives. Whether caught in a parrallel sway with our forever one of lost within our airpods on some rusty train to nowhere, Ambitions is the perfect dreamy dance soundtrack for your journey. It stays within its vibe so elegantly, bridging the realms of chill pop and The War On Drugs. We’re super into it.

We adore the blissful aura of Biketoberfest, the new single from Nep. A modern indie darling, Nep fits in well with the canon of dominating female indie songwriters such as Boy Genius, Soccer Mommy, and Clairo. Within that aura Nep manages to carve out her own lane. It’s heard in both her lyrical language and her acquired attitude. Nep isn’t afraid to keep it fun while retaining her edgy nature. Biketoberfest sparkles in contrast to the often depressing narratives dominated by her contemporaries. She’s not afraid to poke some fun at her life either. We think its charming.

There’s something up with Rimeny. The prolific recording artist knows how to get the most out of his sonic toys. Its heard on his recent Not Yet. Full of glitchy pops around an indie pop core, Not Yet tickles your headspace from start to finish. It’s just one highlight from his recent 6 song EP World as Myth. The collection is full of imaginative busy arrangements where nothing sounds overproduced despite every songs packed track list. It’s a testament to his Midas touch, an intuition spread throughout the EP and breaking through on highlights like I Can’t Talk To My Friends and Matt. Altogether it cements the buzz potential. Rimeny is an artist to watch who is flying too far under the radar.
