Honey I’m Home describes their new single Insecure as their loudest yet, a facet they’re extremely proud of. Loud is an understatement. Insecure is bit crushing. Beyond the beautiful outburst lies wonderful contrast courtesy of the singers perplexing polarity. More than just a killer indie rock song with classic grunge instincts, Insecure is a sonic masterpiece. Stylistically we hear notes of Nirvana, Deftones, and Wolf Alice. This one is awesome.

There’s a frantic genius to Blow by Blow, the new single from The Zachary Incident. It’s fairly insane and chaotic within a tamed construct. In that manner it barely makes sense. There are elements of math rock and progressive tainted by a punk aesthetic. Whether your into the Mars Volta or Black Midi, you’ll be satisfied.

Rock lives on in The Roach, the new single from Anteeter and Normal Writing featuring Sophie Delay. A classic riff born hard rock aesthetic feels even more vintage via Sophie’s legendary approach. Stylistically we hear a semblance of Heart of Jefferson Airplane adapted into a new, harder version of rock. Its a little dark but mostly akin to an alternative design familiar to Soundgarden or STP. We can dig it.

There’s some invigorating about Here And Now, the new single from Subsolar. Its the sensibility of the chord progression. Its hopeful with a nostalgic angle. It bears a reflection of a moment while retaining a unique aura. The devil is in the details on this haunting release. The contrast of the vocal part lands anthemic. Stylistically we hear notes of Jimmy Eat World mixed with Death Cab or The 1975. Its a dynamic release, one thats certain to get under your skin.
