Its a celebration when Arkells team up with Grouplove on their new single Ride. Both acts are known for their infectious appeal and vibrant in concert spirit. Ride embraces a build before landing convincingly in the songs second section. Stylistically the collaboration finds the middle ground between Oracular Spectacular and late seventies Fleetwood Mac. That’s infectious!

On the eve of their new EP the Euro duo Lightshifters caught our attention with their new single Absurdities. Dark brooding synth pop embraces a trip hop influence with cosmic appeal. Waves of intergalactic production swirl beneath the melancholy beauty of the main vocal. Catchy and complete with an inviting call and response chorus, Absurdities is an effective setup for the full drop on 3/20.

UK project tan sholto brings rare nostalgia to their new single tash. Featured on their new EP Christine, the writing reminds us of acoustic offerings from early nineties grunge acts like Smashing Pumpkins and Alice In Chains. They adapt that inspiration with an indie pop sensibility courtesy of the tempered vocal delivery. We find it entrancing.

MUANH gives herself to the feeling on her new single u wanna have it. Her soft lush vocal delivery is deliciously smoothing, while the songs sad sensual aura lands fresh. We hear subtle evidence of Prince in her voices percussive pomp with traces of Billie Eilish laden into the songwriting. We love it.
