We dig the vibe at the root of Dive, the new single from Archi. This is how we imagine a collaboration between Dr Dog and Tame Impala might flourish. Dive has that kind of urban indie jive while leaning into Impala’s trademark sonic brightness.
It’s a jam too. It’s heard in the untamed bass line. It scans the melodic spectrum as it reimagines the limitations around lofi study sounds. Most notably, the singer embrace his raw candid touch. It’s a soulful throwback we find refreshing. We’re into it.

Ellur claims her moment on her anthemic new single Your Dog. It’s the kind of reclamation we live for. When you’re found on the wrong side of someone’s youthful folly, it can hurt to play the fool. As they say, screw me once…
Ellur finds the silver lining with what she learned from the experience and how it enriched her writing. For in that vulnerable moment she may have found a stronger version of herself. Lyrically it’s a revelation, but it delivers as a vibe too. A proper rock song with real indie pop radio potential. We’re into it. A sure thing for fans of the Boy Genius radius.

Things are Taking Shape for Valentin Prince. The title of their new single reflects the songs sense of graceful discovery. The sensibility reflects a breakthrough. It’s got some nostalgic essence too. We hear the influence of ELO and classic Yacht rock mixed with a modern psych blend familiar to King Gizzard. It’s most notable in the ferocious guitar solo and in the vocals rare effect palette.
Here for a good time, Taking Shape gets right to the point and then exits stage right. Coming in under two minutes, Taking Shape is a statement. Valentin Prince has it going on.

&Tilly has found their own unique sound, and its heard in every style they flirt with. A string of recent collaborations find the duo embracing the inspiration known to new artistic communications. Their recent with Timberly finds the project in a dreamy atmospheric indie pop space. Of Monsters and Shadows is the fitting title for the song’s haunting quality. It’s amplified by lead Tilly’s hush emotive delivery.
The male duet offers some reality in contrast to Tilly’s ghostly presence. Her vibrating quiver is her ultimate trademark. It gets under your skin in a way that oddly comforting. We have found that if you’re drawn to her timbre like we are, you’ll love everything in their catalog. The latest could draw comparisons to Billie Eilish and FKA Twigs.
