Their new song Baby Girl (Likes To Lie) embraces Silverman’s alter ego while showcasing her intuitive performance skills. Katie gives so much emotion to the performance that you can truly feel the narrative. The lyrics are amazing too, weaving together poetic imagery that lands elusive. Stylistically she’s got Swiftie level lyrical chops combined with a more indie musical aesthetic. We love that style.
