Its a thoughtful rootsy folk country break full of lyrical imagery and a candid vocal delivery. “She’ll make it all worth your time.” Certainly a worthy love letter worth its weight in minutes.

Danke Shane is a dynamic spirit with wades of chill folk and indie pop mixed elegantly on his new single Two Things at Once. Like a melancholy melatonin version of The Shins, the new single has delicate sparkle worthy of Garden State montages and floral headphone escapes. Its an intoxicating affect.

We love the contrast the vocal part brings to Those Days Are Gone, the new single from Years Around The Sun. There’s an untamed spirit with innate talent. Its a similar asset to what drove us to adore bands like Band of Horses and Petey. Like both the songwriting offers intellect in its melodic flavor while the singer compliments that approach with a wide scale part. Its a vibe. We dig it.

A spirited picked guitar churns beneath a vulnerable vocal on Running Into Walls, the new single from W.Y. Huang. Anxious feelings prod carefully in the lyrical context. The angel on the right shoulder tries to piece together some hope while the devil on the left lurks dangerously. Huang investigates this complex gracefully, with a comforting folk appeal familiar to Sufjan Stevens or something softer. We love it.
