Music Videos We Love – Um Jennifer?, Sanderson and the Charabancs, Noble Oak, Sitting On Saturn

Absolutely insane. That was our response to the new music video from Um, Jennifer? The ecstatic indie punks have proven themselves to be repeat offenders as their latest Old Grimes is the newest in a string of videos that found us smitten. Their youthful energy and chaotic spirit has careless magnetism. You can get inspired in the empowered gender affirming accolades brought on by other musical tabloids but our message rings from a different drum; this band is awesome. Old Grimes is their best song yet and they keep getting better. They should tour with other up and comers like Sweet Pill. We respect them and we love their music. That is all. Get into it.

Sanderson and the Charabancs blew us away with their new single Baudelaire Blues. Vibrant violent drums pump beneath the retro shimmer of the effective guitar part. The vocals vintage post punk spirit amplifies the nostalgic tension. There’s an authentic 80s alternative brilliance to their vibe. It’s enhanced by the gothic noir horror feel of the music video. The slow dramatic shots caught within highlights of smoke and chrome feel appropriate. As an art piece it’s a collective triumph. See for yourself.

We adore the glorious collage seen in the video for Elevator Love Letter. Frantic fragments from pop culture and sub culture converge with poetic surprise. Thoughtful references to lyric and mood keep it relevant while flashes of eye candy keep you invested. Beyond the images, the new single from Noble Oak is convincingly catchy. Stylistically it’s a sure thing for fans of Postal Service looking for some fresh feels within that vibe. We’re super into it. Check it out.

We love an effective performance video and we got that and more from Ticket To New York, the new single from Sitting On Saturn. The scene is simple infectious. The band is full of spirit and the crowd response effectively to their youthful energetic essence. This is how an intimate concert is supposed to feel. Everyone is completely invested in the moment. Nobodies looking at their phones, and everyone’s reaching for the stars. Especially this band. They have what it takes to get there. The image, the musicianship, and the joy. It what we hope to see when we stab the ticket. Go see this band!
