Pool Girl caught our attention with her new single Crab. Her lush voice finds clever contrast in the songs intuitive lyrics. Its sultry within a vintage cool construct. The melody is smart and has a vintage smart essence. Almost like an indie pop Bobby Gentry with an added influence of Billie Eilish. We love it.

Its hard to deny the chill addictive nostalgic magnetism of Club 8. Their new single The Sweetness of Honey embraces its namesake. With subtle trip hop influence a tempered breakbeat finds bliss in the sunny contrast of the melody. Its a rare feel good moment that still feels indie.

We’re drawn to an organic classic musical aesthetic, but every once in a while something with more effects and complicated genesis grabs our attention. Such is the case with DJ Al Dente and their recent single Deemed Delivered Darling. The vocal part is simply super cool, and combined with the musics intuitive touch we find it wholeheartedly hypnotic. Its a chill indie pop banger we won’t soon get enough of.

Somewhere between indie rock and synth pop sits Wolf Twin. Their new single All I Wanted blends elements of new wave and War On Drugs style stadium rock into something fantastic. Tweaked with the artists lush emotive vocal Wolf Twin reigns like the rock and roll siren of your dreams. The vocal has an intoxicating affect while the music feels like its meant to bounce of the walls of a big room. The project has been playing shows in the Southeast region. Tennessee watch out! Kaydelis has a mellow psych essence that permeates through their indie pop ethos. Its optimal state exists on their new single Mediums. Bearing rare similarities to Flaming Lips, the band Kaydelis is able to tap into a treasured aura seldom reached. A late sax solo harkens to an influence of Pink Floyd before adapting into an unlikely guitar solo in the songs bridge. There’s something truly unique about their sound we can’t get enough of.
